McGregor McMahon are well placed to deliver designs for roads, private access tracks and internal layouts to developments. We can provide a full roads design package, be it public road or private access, to meet the specific requirements of our clients.

Our experienced staff can design to local authority guidelines as well as the national Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) standards.

We provide designs to suit Forestry Commission Specifications for metalled roads, as well as rigid (Reinforced Concrete) and flexible (Bituminous) pavements and hardstandings.

The practice has the ability to undertake route and swept path analysis to determine areas of private and public roads/access which require reinforcement, augmentation and/or re-alignment.

We can secure Road Construction Consent for all sections of new public highways/re-alignments/tie-ins.

Specialist advice can be provided to secure Approval In Principle (AIP) for road structure designs such as bridges, embankments, culverts and walls.
